Job summary

Designer Jobs in Washington, DC is seeking a Graphic Design and Layout Associate for a contract role onsite to support the Brand Services Team in delivering high-volume print and digital communications.

You will adapt approved templates, resize images, create branded materials, prepare production-ready files, and ensure brand and editorial standards while coordinating with internal clients, creatives, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, production design, or layout.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
• Strong typography, layout, and production process knowledge.
• Experience with brand standards and template-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and edit approved print and digital templates using established layouts and brand standards.
• Implement copy updates, resize or replace images, and adjust layouts as needed.
• Create branded materials including advertisements, brochures, reports, banners, and signage.
• Prepare production-ready files for internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Apply brand, visual, and editorial standards across projects.
• Review deliverables for accuracy, formatting, image quality, and presentation.
• Coordinate with internal clients and Creative Services to resolve content questions.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines and service levels.
• Support high-volume production needs across programs and initiatives.
• Assist with Creative Services digital platforms and asset management tools.
• Complete other related graphic design and production support duties.
