Job summary

Republic Finance, LLC is seeking Junior or Senior students for a Branch Operations Internship, onsite. You will learn branch operations, loan origination, processing, closings and funding while gaining exposure to leadership and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

The program includes hands-on experience, regulatory training, and a path to various career tracks within the company. Interns earn $15.00 per hour and the role is 100% onsite.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass criminal background history, credit history and a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing based on background check by the state's department of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Learn the loan process and regulatory training through an accelerated Branch Manager path.
• Assist in daily loan origination, processing, closings and funding; allocate files for doc prep; audit closed files; prep files to fund.
• Meet with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotion path and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about branch operations process-improvement projects.
• Explore corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are valued; overview of benefits during the program.
