Job summary

Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager I to manage technical projects from scoping to product launch and installation at customer sites. Projects span chromatography, dilution, filtration, synthesis, and other downstream process equipment, with a focus on successful outcomes.

Hours are 8pm–5pm or 7am–4pm, Monday to Friday onsite in Glenview, IL. The role requires leadership, communication, and rigorous project management across multiple functions to ensure

Qualifications

• BS in engineering required.
• 2+ years of Project Management experience required.
• Fluid Management or Bioprocess experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, ERP (Business Central) and experience with project management software, ClickUp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through gated processes for design, development, manufacture, testing, and release.
• Create project schedules and monitor budgets; track milestones and dates; identify risks and contingencies.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Design, Assembly, Automation, Quality, Sales, Accounting, Logistics, Management).
• Build and maintain a strong customer relationship and manage expectations onsite at customer visits.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance procedures and manage changes/non-conformances.
