Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a Quality Control Technician I for QC Lab Support to join a temporary assignment onsite in Maryland. The role involves handling samples, maintaining logbooks, and coordinating transfers with QA and other QC groups.

Responsibilities include log-in of samples in LIMS, shipping activities, deviation support, and participation in Lean Lab initiatives. Strong GMP knowledge and attention to detail are preferred for this 12-month assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience.
• AA Degree plus 2+ years in Quality Control or biopharma labs (FDA-regulated preferred).
• High School Diploma with 3+ years in Quality Control or biopharma labs (FDA-regulated preferred).
• Proficiency with GMP in QC labs and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log samples, verify documentation, and manage sample records in LIMS.
• Support sample receipt, processing, aliquoting for release/stability testing, and storage.
• Label, store, and organize samples per procedures and storage requirements.
• Coordinate sample transfers to internal and external labs and maintain storage areas.
