Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support to assist day-to-day operations in an FDA-regulated biopharma laboratory. This on-site role focuses on sample handling, documentation, and support tasks across QC, QA, and manufacturing teams.

They will manage samples from receipt through storage, process testing support, and coordinate transfers to testing labs, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in LIMS. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate/AA degree with 2+ years of experience in Quality Control or a biopharma laboratory, preferably in an FDA-regulated environment.
• High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience in Quality Control or a biopharma laboratory, preferably in an FDA-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming samples, verify documentation, and enter sample information into LIMS.
• Support sample receipt, processing, and aliquoting for release, stability testing, and retain samples.
• Label, store, organize, and maintain samples according to procedures and storage requirements.
• Coordinate sample transfers to internal and external testing laboratories.

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite – Laboratory Environment

Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM (4 days / 10 hours)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Pay: $20.00–$21.58/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support to support day-to-day laboratory operations within a regulated environment. This position will be responsible for sample management, documentation, sample processing, shipping, storage, and other laboratory support activities.

The role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and the ability to collaborate with teams across Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Material Management, and other functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming samples, verify documentation, and accurately enter sample information into LIMS.
• Support sample receipt, processing, and aliquoting for release, stability testing, and retain samples.
• Label, store, organize, and maintain samples according to established procedures and storage requirements.

Basic Qualifications
