Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Biomedical Technician 2 to respond to service calls, diagnose and repair biomedical equipment, and perform planned maintenance to ensure uptime at hospital sites around Reston, VA. You will engage with customers and team members to deliver service excellence.

On-site roles involve following GE policies, documenting actions, managing spares, and potentially leading site teams while ensuring regulatory compliance and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
• Equivalent military education with 2+ years servicing electrical or mechanical equipment.
• High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years servicing medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex biomedical equipment issues and perform repairs.
• Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety inspections, and maintain customer relations.
• Document repair actions and submit reports per schedule.
• Lead, instruct, and assist technicians on repairs and resolution.
• Work as part of a local team to ensure efficient service delivery.
