GE HealthCare is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 to work onsite at hospital locations in and around the Reston, VA service area. You will respond to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, perform repair/PM on progressively complex equipment, and enhance customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.

Key responsibilities include performing PMs, safety inspections, documentation, leading technicians when needed, and coordinating with local teams to ensure efficient service delivery

Formación

• Ability to communicate technical issues to customers clearly.
• Willingness to be available after hours or on-call, including weekends.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with technical aptitude.
• Experience servicing medical equipment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and repair complex biomedical equipment issues.
• Perform planned maintenance, safety and environmental inspections.
• Document actions and reports according to schedule.
• Lead and assist technicians and coordinate with the site team.
• Maintain parts inventory and calibration of tools and test equipment.
• Ensure compliance with GE policies and hospital procedures.

Educación

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (or related)

Equivalent military education with 2+ years servicing equipment

High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years servicing equipment
