Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Virtual Construction on-site BIM Coordinator & Engineer to lead model coordination on a dedicated project. You will work directly with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and trade partners to translate the design intent into field-ready solutions.

Based on the jobsite, you will own end-to-end BIM coordination—from model integration and clash detection to installation sequencing and look-ahead planning—ensuring constructible workflows and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of commercial construction with 2+ years in BIM/VDC.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks for coordination.
• Solid understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing and field operations.
• Experience working directly with superintendents and trade partners.
• Comfort operating in an active jobsite environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination efforts directly from the jobsite, aligned with sequencing and installation priorities.
• Develop, manage, and maintain federated models integrating architectural, structural, MEP scopes.
• Run clash detection and issue resolution workflows focused on constructability.
• Partner with Superintendents and field engineers to align models with field constraints, means and methods.
• Support look-ahead planning by identifying upcoming coordination risks early.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal VC playbooks.
