Job summary

TEEMA GROUP is urgently seeking a Senior Center Operations Coordinator in San Francisco. The role focuses on supporting daily operations, engaging older adults, and coordinating recreational and educational programming at a busy senior center.

Ideal candidates will be bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Cantonese), possess strong customer service and organizational skills, and be comfortable working onsite for a 3-month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish or English/Cantonese.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of a high-volume senior center safely and welcoming.
• Provide excellent participant and customer service to older adults.
• Coordinate recreational activities, workshops, wellness programs, classes, and group programming.
• Assist with enrollment, referrals, outreach, and program services.
• Coordinate schedules and ensure program coverage.
• Support volunteers, staff, and community partners with daily center activities.
• Assist with safety, security, and staff-on-duty responsibilities.
• Provide language assistance and translation support when needed.
