Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation seeks a Controls Field Engineer to provide onsite expertise for operating the baggage handling system at SEA. You will troubleshoot PLC-based control systems, configure sensors and motors, and work with maintenance teams.

The role requires familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, industrial automation, and the ability to support peak times, including weekends and holidays. Initial onsite work is five days per week with training from Novi, Michigan.

Qualifications

• Engineering/technology degree or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial automation controls design is preferred.
• Familiarity with BHS or similar material handling systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Controls Engineer support for BHS startup and operations.
• Make programming modifications when requested.
• Monitor BHS health and implement changes as needed.
• Coordinate with Port of Seattle maintenance and home office engineering teams.
• Onsite work Monday through Friday, 0400–1300; after-hours support as needed.
• Training will be provided by Daifuku’s home office.
