Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer III to lead electrical/PLC control design for airport baggage security systems. Responsibilities include programming, debugging, commissioning, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects meet schedule and budget.

Candidates should have a BSEE or equivalent and at least five years in industrial automation, with preference for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and AutoCAD experience.

Qualifications

• BSEE or relevant technical degree with related work experience.
• Minimum five years in industrial automation controls design and commissioning.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC ControlLogix preferred, AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical/PLC control systems for baggage security systems.
• Install and support PLC hardware/software in projects.
• Program, debug, and commission control systems.
• Coordinate design with other engineering disciplines and management.
• Lead a team of controls engineers and delegate tasks.
• Participate in testing and commissioning at major airports.
• Support proposals, estimates, and customer inquiries.
