Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation, a leader in automated baggage handling systems, seeks a Field Controls Engineer for SeaTac onsite operations. You will support BHS startup, monitor health, and troubleshoot control systems with Daifuku standards.

The role requires BSEE or equivalent, 2 years in industrial automation, and experience with Allen Bradley PLC ControlLogix; onsite schedule Mon-Fri with some after-hours coverage. Training provided from Novi, MI.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent technical degree or related work experience.
• Two years of experience in industrial automation controls design and commissioning (preferred).
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC ControlLogix programming (preferred).
• Experience with material handling equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical/ PLC control systems including device/layout drawings; motor control panel drawings; wiring schematics.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting of PLC based hardware and software.
• Understand control system functionalities.
• Configure (for replacements), troubleshoot, and repair sensors, scanners, visualization systems, motors, frequency inverters and encoders.
• Be available for peak times, weekends, nights, or holidays as required by the customer.
