Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly motivated Avionics Test Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team in Annapolis. You will support testing and verification of avionics hardware guided by industry standards and test plans. You will execute procedures per AEEC/RTCA specs, set up test equipment, collect and analyze results, and collaborate with engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
IP Communication coursework or work experience.
Experience reading and following technical documentation, schematics, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

Execute test procedures on avionics hardware per test plans and industry specs.
Set up, configure, and operate test equipment and simulation tools.
Collect, analyze, and document test results with traceability.
Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineers to troubleshoot issues.
Contribute to updates of test plans, procedures, and test reports.
Maintain test environments, equipment, and lab configurations.
Support continuous improvement of test methods, automation, and processes.
Communicate clearly in writing and verbally across audiences.
Work independently and in teams; some travel may be required.
