Job summary

RTX Avionics team is seeking an engineer to collaborate across systems, software, and test disciplines to deliver avionics solutions. The role emphasizes requirements refinement, verification planning, and hands-on system integration in development environments.

The position offers exposure to aerospace lifecycle workflows, structured problem-solving, and mentorship from senior engineers within a safety-critical domain.

Qualifications

• Coursework or project experience related to systems engineering, embedded systems, software development, aerospace, or controls.
• Exposure to requirements development, verification, testing, or model-based engineering concepts.
• Experience with one or more engineering tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of systems, software, integration, and test engineers to develop and deliver avionics system solutions.
• Support development, analysis, and refinement of system requirements and interfaces.
• Contribute to verification planning and test development to ensure implementations satisfy system requirements.
• Participate in technical reviews of requirements, design artifacts, and test procedures, while incorporating feedback into your own work.
• Assist with system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in lab and development environments.
