Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate, Integration / Test Engineering in Waco, TX. You will support aircraft modernization, maintenance and new systems integration, performing system test tasks including SOVTs for avionics and mission systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience, plus an active Secret clearance with potential Top Secret eligibility; travel up to 50% may be required and an A&P or FCC license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in aircraft systems test engineering OR 4 years of related experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• A&P and/or FCC license desired.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Open to shift work as needed to run effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and execute software quality methods and processes.
• Test procedures and SOVTs for avionics, communications, cockpit and mission systems.
• Work with common and advanced test equipment and related software.
• Travel up to 50% within the U.S. and possibly OCONUS.
• Read block diagrams, wire diagrams and circuit schematics to isolate malfunctions.
• Interface with customers, subcontractors and stakeholders with high ethical standards.
