Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Chantilly, VA is seeking an AV Service Technician with an active TS/SCI CI Poly to support end-users by troubleshooting and resolving issues on enterprise AV systems onsite.

You will work closely with customers, engineers, and installation teams, handling meeting/event support, preventative maintenance, and training. This role requires CI Poly and strong customer interfacing, with occasional after-hours on-call support and ongoing professional certifications.

Qualifications

• CI POLY required; candidates with only an SCI may be considered but must sit for CIPOLY after starting.
• 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in setup, installation and support of large-scale audiovisual systems.
• Experience coordinating or leading schedule-driven tasks.
• Experience directly interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily onsite/on-call AV troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
• Provide meeting and event support including set-up and breakdown.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and daily AV checks.
• Deliver technical end-user support in person and by phone.
• Maintain system documentation in Confluence/Jira and other ticketing systems.
• Provide user training on AV systems.
• Escalate issues to engineering and assist in troubleshooting.
• Maintain training certificates from manufacturers and associations as required.
• Ensure issue resolution meets service level agreements.
• Maintain knowledge of AV products and systems.
• Attend engineering and operations meetings; follow change management processes.
• Provide on-call support and maintain professionalism in high-pressure settings.
