Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Test and Manufacturing Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test and manufacturing equipment for global factories, collaborating with R&D and operations to support New Product Introduction and process improvements.

The role covers test analysis, software development, and maintenance of test equipment and fixtures for motors and related assemblies, with onsite work and a base salary range disclosed.

Qualifications

• BS of Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Automation, Controls, Robotics, or Computer Science required.
• Strong LabVIEW, C++, C#, MATLAB, or VB experience.
• CAD software design experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Pro-Engineer).
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and controls background is required to troubleshoot systems, machinery, and test equipment.
• This position is subject to ITAR; U.S. Persons only.
• Ability to pass vision and color eye test or correct vision or color-blindness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations support with an analytical mindset to help Deep Dive data for quality issues and develop robust corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and determine root cause/corrective action (RCCA).
• Design and modify a wide array of automated test and manufacturing/process equipment with regard to electrical schematics, mechanical CAD, test software, and SQL/MySQL databases.
• Work with new and innovative equipment to maintain any system or process with the understanding of production requirements.
• Support the implementation of Standard Work.
• Perform necessary Quality checks and data collection.
• Work with development team, manufacturing engineers as well as production personnel to resolve technical issues that are identified through the development and manufacturing process.
• Provide Design for Manufacturability/Testability feedback to the design team.
• Participation in activities pertaining to product evaluation test, including ABS events, design review meetings, meetings with suppliers, as required.
• Store final Test Spec and Gauge R∧R results in SVN
