Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to support manufacturing electrical and controls activities for assembly, machining, tooling, and powertrain equipment. The role focuses on controls architecture, PLC/CNC programming, and automation troubleshooting, with strong emphasis on delivering robust controls solutions onsite.

This fully onsite position may require travel up to 80% during peak installation periods and off-shift work during launches.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background with controls focus.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of PLC/CNC/robot systems.
• Experience with assembly, machining, and tooling for Powertrain/Vehicle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls deliverables from engineering through program launch.
• Apply standard controls architectures across programs and plants.
• Lead meetings with Tier I suppliers and coordinate program reviews.
• Travel up to 80% during peak periods; work off shift when needed.
