Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to support on-site installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of automation control systems and software applications for customer projects. You will be a primary liaison, performing design/modifications, programming PLCs/HMI/SCADA, and ongoing troubleshooting and documentation.

Responsibilities include project management, documenting validation plans, and communicating project details to Rockwell Automation and customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology field required.
5 years of related experience, including Low Voltage PowerFlex VFDs.
Willingness to work off shifts, overtime, on-call and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer support for installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service and repair of Rockwell equipment.
Design and modify hardware/software for complex electrical/control systems.
Program PLCs, HMIs and SCADA systems for new or modified equipment.
Maintain automation and equipment, including low voltage work.
Troubleshoot, identify gaps, implement corrective actions and improve system functionality.
Manage projects with scoping, scheduling, tracking and reporting.
