Job summary

BEPC Inc. in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a Controls Automation Engineer for a 12‑month W2 contract, fully onsite. The role focuses on PLC programming, troubleshooting control systems, and advancing automation projects from concept to startup.

Expect use of Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and RSLogix 5000 in a hands‑on manufacturing environment. Candidates should have 3–5 years of industrial automation experience with ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000, and strong problem‑solving

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls or Automation Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of industrial automation experience in manufacturing.
Strong hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation PLC systems.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot Rockwell PLC programs.
Work with ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, Studio 5000, and RSLogix 5000 platforms.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HMI/SCADA applications using FactoryTalk View SE/ME, Ignition, or similar platforms.
Support automation projects through design, programming, installation, commissioning, startup and handoff.
Diagnose and resolve PLC, instrumentation, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
