Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Orlando, FL is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to serve as main customer contact and liaison for on-site installation, startup, maintenance and operation of automation control systems and software applications.

You will program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA, manage projects, write documentation, and collaborate with customers and Rockwell teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and legal work authorization in the U.S., with on-site work in Orlando.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship)
Experience with Rockwell software packages is a plus
Strong PLC/HMI/SCADA programming experience preferred

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair Rockwell equipment on site
Program PLCs, HMIs and SCADA for new or modified equipment
Develop documentation: SOPs, validation plans, system audits, technical reports
Manage projects: scheduling, tracking, reporting; communicate with management
Provide customer support and coordinate with Rockwell and customer on project details
