Job summary
Rockwell Automation is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to support on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems. You will program PLCs/ HMIs, troubleshoot equipment, and develop technical documentation for projects in Orlando, Florida.
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, have hands-on Rockwell software experience, and can work flexible hours including weekends when required by customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology required.
- Experience with Rockwell software preferred for project execution.
- Willingness to work off shifts as needed by customer demands.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for installation, start-up, and maintenance.
- Program PLCs, HMIs and SCADA for new or modified equipment.
- Diagnose and repair Rockwell equipment and systems.
- Develop documentation such as validation plans and SOPs.
- Coordinate project tasks including scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Communicate project details with Rockwell and customers.
