Job summary

Wipfli is seeking interns for an in-person accounting internship in Illinois, offering hands-on audit support and client interaction. You will respond to client requests, gather information, analyze data, and identify process improvements under guidance from engagement leaders.

The role requires pursuing an Accounting degree with CPA exam eligibility, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, with opportunities to learn GAAP in depth across product lines.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Above average knowledge in accounting demonstrated by GPA, 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Working toward eligibility to sit for CPA exam after graduation.
• Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner.
• Gather information from clients and work with them to complete required documents.
• Use data analysis to discover information and patterns to support recommendations.
