Job summary

Wipfli LLP is seeking accounting interns to support audit, review and compliance testing duties in a hands-on environment. You will respond to client requests, gather information, and help prepare financial statements under supervision. The role requires regular in-office engagement and the ability to work across client sites.

You will gain hands-on experience with GAAP and data analytics while developing professional and interpersonal skills to serve clients and teams effectively.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
• Average or above GPA; CPA exam eligibility encouraged.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests promptly and professionally.
• Gather information required to complete documents with clients.
• Use data analysis to identify patterns and provide support for recommendations.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Perform audit, review, and compliance testing per standards and deadlines.
• Communicate issues to engagement leaders and address open items.
• Prepare or review financial statements, footnotes, and management reports.
