Job summary

Wellness Workdays is seeking a passionate certified athletic trainer to provide onsite injury management and one-on-one health coaching at a construction site in Columbus, OH.

You will promote a healthy culture, engage employees in well-being offerings, and serve as a wellness ambassador in a dynamic team environment.

BOC-certified and OH licensure eligibility required; OSHA training available; benefits include 401(k) and health insurance.

Qualifications

• BOC-certified Athletic Trainer (or eligible)
• OH State Licensure eligibility (OTPTAT Board)
• Cardiac care/CPR/AED required
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on uneven surfaces
• Willingness to work onsite at a construction site

Responsibilities

• Provide triage and acute services at a construction site
• Communicate with medical direction/oversight
• Provide one-to-one health coaching for workers
• Lead warm-up sessions (stretch/flex/focus) onsite
• Collaborate with safety committees, unions, and foremen to deliver wellness education
• Create health promotion activities and challenges
• Track health behavior changes with coaching software
• Conduct health risk assessments, drug screens, and biometric screens (training provided)
