Job summary

Concentra is hiring an experienced Athletic Trainer for a PRN onsite position at our client site in San Antonio, TX. The AT-O provides health promotion, injury prevention, and return-to-work support, coordinating with the client’s Health and Safety Leader.

Typical coverage is Monday–Friday 7AM-3PM as needed; pay range is $37-$40 per hour. Requires First Aid/CPR, a Bachelor's degree, and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses as specified.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured associates to appropriate clinicians.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders and action plans.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases and return-to-work processes.
• Coordinate with HR on RTW job placement and ergonomics training.
• Create and communicate job analyses and ergonomic recommendations.
