Job summary

GCON Management Company LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent on high-tech and commercial construction projects in the Phoenix area. You’ll act as an on-site point of contact for the team and client, helping to oversee daily operations and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of relevant site management experience on ground up commercial and/or high-tech or mission critical projects.
• Familiarity with P6 to assist in building project schedules.
• Proficiency with Procore and/or CMIC.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the building of complex, high-tech projects.
• Support the preconstruction phase, buyout, logistics, and scheduling.
• Help communicate the project plan’s success factors and implementation strategies.
• Assist with reconciling Work in Progress (WIP) with Trade contractors’ Schedule of Values and support timely and accurate payment requisitions.
• Develop a working understanding of the Profit Plan (PP) and project financial forecast.
• Participate in jobsite lean and Last Planner System (LPS) boot camps.
• Support a weekly cadence of LPS and continuous improvement activities between staff and trade partners.
• Assist with constructability reviews and collaborate with stakeholders to support an effective Quality Control (QC) program.
• Help create and assess the Weekly Work Plan (WWP) and Pre-Task Plan (PTP) for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support execution of EH&S policies and procedures and assist in identifying safety training needs.
