SOLV Energy is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support the construction of utility-scale solar, battery storage and substations. The role is based full-time on a jobsite in Peoria, IL, with travel expected as needed during project execution.

The position requires a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture (or equivalent experience) and 3–4 years of construction experience, plus scheduling/estimating skills. Excellent communication is essential.

Formación

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• 3-4 years construction experience.
• 1+ years scheduling and estimating experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Project Manager in administering the construction project.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Estimate, prepare and negotiate Change Orders.
• Write subcontract Change Orders.
• Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare Purchase Orders and Rental Agreements.
• Supervise and train Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
