Job summary

SunEnergy1 seeks an experienced Onsite Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar construction projects. You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors and field teams, monitor schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include leading progress meetings, reviewing drawings and RFIs, coordinating with engineering and procurement, and maintaining thorough project documentation from mobilization to turnover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in utility-scale solar or large-scale construction.
• Experience managing onsite construction activities for large utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, subcontractor management, and project controls.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards, quality assurance, and field operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of construction safety standards, quality assurance, and field operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction scheduling or project management software.
• Ability to work full-time onsite and travel or relocate to the assigned project location as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with utility-scale solar EPC projects from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and large field teams.
• Familiarity with electrical infrastructure, civil construction, site grading, and solar installation.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling tools.
