Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is seeking part-time interpreters to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation on-site at various customer locations in Renton, Washington. The role requires fluent ASL and spoken English, with adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct and strong interpersonal skills.

Candidates should be prepared to work at least two hours per quarter and complete an interpretation skills assessment.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective onsite interpreting for consumers at client sites.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism.
• Maintain punctuality, preparedness, and accurate record keeping.
• Follow all policies and procedures and participate in training for professional development.
• Travel to on-site locations as needed; access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license may be required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in all settings.
