Job summary

Welo Data is hiring Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems. This hands-on production role focuses on building high-quality datasets from audio, speech, and language data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalable outputs.

The position is 100% onsite in multiple cities (Bay Area, Seattle, NYC, or client-dependent). 40 hours per week, a W2 full-time employee, and US work authorization are required. Pay rate is $28/hour.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Arabic.
• Strong written communication skills and language fundamentals.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
