Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Application Software Engineer, Employee Experience, based on-site in Hawthorne, CA. You will own end-to-end software engineering across mission-critical applications used to accelerate production and Starlink growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math or science, or 2+ years of software experience in lieu of degree
• 1+ years of full stack development experience
• Experience with SPA frameworks and modern frontend tooling
• Experience with version control, CI/CD and deployment concepts
• Strong understanding of software design and performance
• Ability to own software engineering and product development

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX
• Create new applications to improve operations
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts and constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into user problems to craft efficient solutions
• Contribute to architecture, design and code reviews
