SpaceX is seeking an Application Software Engineer to deliver mission-critical software powering SpaceX manufacturing and Starlink operations. You will own end-to-end software development, from design to deployment, collaborating across teams to solve complex problems and accelerate production and flight readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ year of full stack development.
• Proficient in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java or similar OO language.
• Experience building single page web apps.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of build systems and package managers.
• Experience with UNIX-like OS and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications to improve operations.
• Build prototypes to validate design choices and constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Analyze user problems to deliver efficient solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews.
