Job summary

Qualifications

• ASATT certifications: Cer.A.T.T. or Cer.A.T.
• Experience with Rapid Transfuser and invasive IV lines.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with multilevel staff.
• English with medical/surgical terminology.
• Ability to work with varied schedules; attendance/dress code adherence.
• Infection control/OSHA knowledge.
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs+.
• Strong electronics background and anesthesia machines experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS from Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist the anesthesiologist in preparing anesthesia equipment.
• Set up invasive lines for patient monitoring.
• Perform cell saving procedures.
• Set up laser and video equipment and assist in laser procedures.
• Prepare other operating room equipment and perform clerical/coordinating duties.
