Job summary

UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital is seeking an on-site Anesthesia Support Technician to assist licensed anesthesia providers with monitoring, equipment setup, and patient care.

You will maintain equipment, manage supplies, and support fast-paced procedures. Requirements include a high school diploma, Basic Life Support certification, and at least 6 months of healthcare experience; on-site shift; PRN schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• Minimum Experience: 6 months of healthcare experience.
• BLS or CPR card must be valid through sixty days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sterilizes and sets up all types of anesthesia equipment.
• Assists anesthesia provider with monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of IV and other invasive lines, and airway management.
• Provides daily maintenance of all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Maintains a sufficient inventory of all equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
