Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science or machine learning in production environments.
• 4+ years working with security-relevant datasets and tools in an enterprise setting.
• 4+ years SQL and big data/cloud analytics platforms to process large-scale security data.
• 4+ years applying ML methods and model evaluation to real-world problems.
• Ability to translate ambiguous security problems into analytic questions with measurable outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy ML models for threat detection and risk scoring using security telemetry.
• Develop robust security data pipelines with ingestion, cleansing, feature engineering, and monitoring.
• Analyze outputs from security tools to identify gaps and translate into remediation recommendations.
• Partner with SOC, cybersecurity engineers, and infrastructure teams to embed analytics into security controls.
• Conduct model performance evaluations, bias and drift analysis, and tune models to reduce false positives.
• Develop visualizations and documentation of data sources, model architectures, and deployment processes.
