Job summary

Advanced Systems Design in Montgomery, AL seeks an AI Platform Engineer to configure, operate and support enterprise AI platforms on site from day one. You will work across OpenAI/ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini, enabling access, integrations and automation to turn AI into reliable enterprise services.

The role emphasizes hands-on platform engineering, API integrations, security, governance, and runbook creation, with collaboration across cybersecurity and cloud teams.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–4 years of professional experience in cloud, systems, platform, or DevOps.
• At least 1 year of exposure to AI, intelligent automation, generative AI, or AI-enabled enterprise platforms; project experience may count.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major AI ecosystem and ability to learn other platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise AI platforms (OpenAI/ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini).
• Configure environments, tenants/workspaces, access, permissions and service controls.
• Assist with API integrations, connectors, agents, and automation between AI platforms and enterprise systems.
• Support identity and access; implement OAuth/OIDC or SAML-based integrations and least-privilege access.
• Troubleshoot platform, authentication, authorization, data-access, and performance issues.
• Monitor service health, licensing, logs, alerts, and operational metrics; coordinate escalations.
• Assist with provisioning, change, release, and retirement processes for AI services and components.
• Maintain inventories of AI services, accounts, and dependencies.
• Implement security, privacy, data protection, governance, and compliance requirements.
