Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking an Assistant Applications Specialist (Data & AI Analyst) in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on developing software tools, leveraging AI (Claude Code, Codex), and translating data needs into automated solutions.

You will write SQL, perform light data modeling, and collaborate with developers to scale prototypes into production. The position involves working with internal teams to deliver reports and dashboards, using Power Apps and Power BI, and

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in a data analyst, automation, or similar hands-on technical role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills with basic Python scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Onsite at the Kansas City office with US work authorization

Responsibilities

• Understand data, automation, and reporting needs and translate them into working solutions.
• Prompt with AI tools to build automations and AI agents that solve business problems.
• Write and optimize SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with software developers to scale, harden, and operationalize prototypes.
• Work within GitHub and VS Code in the standard development workflow.
• Operate across Azure, GCP, and AWS as engagements require.
• Develop applications, reports, and dashboards for internal and external clients.
• Configure security and automation flows within applications.
