Job summary

Seneca Resources seeks an AI Solutions Developer to design, implement, and support AI-powered applications and intelligent workflows. You will work with business and technical teams to deliver copilots, chatbots, and automation that improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years in software development, application support, automation, or related roles.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience with APIs, data integration, and modern development tools.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, and LLM-based solutions.
• Understanding of application security and data privacy principles.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Development

• Develop and maintain AI-powered applications, copilots, chatbots, and automation solutions.
• Build solutions utilizing Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and workflow automation tools.
• Create and maintain integrations with enterprise applications, APIs, and data sources.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and pilot solutions to validate business use cases.
• Assist with testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI solutions.

Business Collaboration

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and functional applications.
• Participate in project planning, solution design discussions, and technical reviews.
• Provide recommendations on appropriate AI tools and technologies to address business needs.

Platform Support & Governance

• Support AI platforms and services used throughout the organization.
• Follow established security, compliance, and governance standards for AI development.

• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing efforts.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

• Stay current on emerging AI technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in AI training, workshops, and innovation initiatives.
• Share knowledge and lessons learned with team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, application support, automation, or related technical roles.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar programming languages.
• Experience working with APIs, data integration, and modern development tools.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, and LLM-based solutions.
• Understanding of application security and data privacy principles.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience building AI-enabled applications or automation solutions.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, or similar platforms.
• Experience developing chatbots, AI assistants, or intelligent workflow solutions.
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and semantic search concepts.
• Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, Logic Apps, or similar automation technologies.
• Experience using Git, DevOps tools, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in healthcare, financial services, insurance, government, or other regulated environments.
