National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) seeks an Agricultural Research Technician (Onsite) in Stillwater, OK, to support the Peanut and Small Grains Research Unit under the ARS.

The role requires lab and field sampling experience (20 years) or a BA/BS degree, and skills in Windows, MS Word and MS Excel. It is a temporary enrollment through the Experienced Worker Program; open until filled. This position is 16 hours per week at $38.00 per hour and is onsite.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years in lab and field sampling and processing, or a BA/BS degree.
• Experience with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provides field and laboratory support for the Peanut and Small Grains Research Unit.
• Assist scientists with collecting, processing, analyzing and measuring biological samples.
• Provide training to other technicians on proper research techniques.
