Job summary

Pero Family Farms is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician (PM Tech) in Clewiston, FL to support routine maintenance and servicing of agricultural equipment, ensuring reliability and minimized downtime.

The role reports to the Farm Shop Manager and requires 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate hand tools and maintenance equipment in a fast-paced farm environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years equipment maintenance or diesel service preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment.
• Oil and filter changes (engine, hydraulic, fuel, air).
• Lubrication and greasing of moving parts.
• Service and inspect tractors, harvesters, and field equipment; irrigation pumps and power units.
• Check and maintain fluid levels; inspect belts, hoses, tires, batteries and lights.
• Identify and report mechanical issues before failure occurs; maintain service logs.
