Job summary

Data Device Corporation in Bohemia, NY is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support quality and compliance across Manufacturing, Engineering, and Product Development. You will perform audits, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to ensure timely, cost-effective, high-quality products.

The role collaborates with suppliers and customers while gaining exposure to product qualification and inspection processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering/related field.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• 3 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100, MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-STD-883 and IPC-A-610 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure conformance to QMS and compliance requirements.
• Provide QA support across manufacturing, engineering, and procurement.
• Maintain and improve quality procedures and records.
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and report product qualification testing to spec.
• Support source inspections and audits at vendors/customers.
