Job summary

Pratt & Whitney EHRO East Hartford Repair Operations seeks an experienced Repair Process Engineer to join our Engineering team. This fast-paced role requires project management and hands-on shop-floor support, interacting with operators and managers.

You will develop processes to improve quality, throughput, and integrate new machines, with emphasis on process validation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering or equal with 3+ years in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Military, Aftermarket or Aviation.
• Strong analytical and engineering problem-solving skills; ability to break down complex issues.
• Comfortable working on the shop floor with equipment and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations and troubleshoot process issues.
• Develop, refine, and document processes to improve quality, repeatability, and throughput.
• Collaborate with inspectors, operators, quality engineers and cross-functional partners to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
• Collect and analyze data to understand trends and recommend changes.
• Participate in root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions and process changes ensuring smooth production integration.
• Assist in industrialization and qualification of new machines, including commissioning and validation.
