Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Aurora seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in a 24/7 acute care setting. You will apply the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience. This onsite position includes day and night rotation with a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• Required: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; CPR as determined at position level.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition; coordinates with other disciplines.
• Provides care in a 24/7 Acute Care environment.
• Educates patient/family and delegates care to ancillary staff as appropriate.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
