Job summary

Credence is seeking an Acquisition Program Engineer to support Air Dominance Division programs at the journeyman level. The role requires analyzing armament portfolios, performing system-level tests, and providing engineering support across the DoD acquisition lifecycle.

Onsite at Eglin AFB, FL, the position emphasizes technical leadership, risk management, and collaboration with government stakeholders. Candidates should bring a Secret clearance, ABET-accredited degrees, and 5 years (or 3 years

Qualifications

• A Secret security clearance is required for this role.
• An ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of experience, or an ABET accredited master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of weapon systems engineering in the DoD acquisition process.
• Knowledge and experience with air armament systems design, development, production, operation, and sustainment.
• Experience across the acquisition life cycle, from requirements analysis through system disposal.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate armament program portfolios; improve systems engineering programs and processes.
• Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning and corrective actions.
• Provide engineering analysis, technical training, and support across acquisition life cycle.
• Translate DoD user requirements into system requirements for design and testing.
• Support risk management activities and conduct feasibility and cost analyses.
