Job summary

Credence is seeking an Acquisition Program Engineer at the journeyman level to support the Air Dominance Division (AFLCMC/EBA). The role is onsite at Eglin AFB, FL, focusing on systems engineering, requirements analysis, and lifecycle management of armament programs for national security.

Responsibilities include portfolio reviews, technical documentation, design reviews, risk management, and collaboration with government customers and contractor teams to ensure program success under DoD

Qualifications

• ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• ABET accredited master’s degree in related field (with years of experience)
• Secret security clearance required
• Experience with DoD acquisition life cycle and AF SEAM processes

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of armament program portfolios to evaluate plans, improve systems engineering programs, and design and perform system-level tests.
• Prepare management reports and technical presentations applying engineering principles; perform system validation.
• Analyze and evaluate results of major engineering weapon systems and provide technical recommendations to the Government.
• Provide system engineering support and training for acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, deployment, fielding, and evolution of armament programs.
• Support requirements definition, architecture design, verification and validation, and configuration management.
• Develop engineering documentation including systems engineering plans, technical reviews, and audits.
