Job summary

Summit Point Raceway Associates, INC. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in Summit Point, WV.

You will ensure accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintain vendor records, and support month-end close with timely payments and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (GED acceptable), strong Excel and office software skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of AP processes and internal controls.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately with proper coding and approvals.
• Prepare ACH, wire, and check payments and reconcile statements.
• Support month-end close, including reconciliations and 1099 preparation.
• Maintain organized electronic accounting records and vendor profiles.
• Collaborate with Procurement and other departments to improve AP processes.
