Job summary

Lifeway Mobility is seeking an Accessibility Installation Technician in Idaho Falls, ID. This full-time role involves installing and maintaining wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts, with hands‑on training and the opportunity for monthly bonuses that can boost your hourly rate by $3 or more.

Responsibilities include loading tools, explaining projects to customers, and entering orders and inventory data.

Qualifications

Experience using hand and power tools.
Basic computer skills for work orders and inventory.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle to job sites.

Responsibilities

Load and unload the company vehicle and equipment each morning.
Install and repair accessibility products, including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts.
Explain the project to the customer and answer any questions they may have.
Enter work orders and inventory data into our system (basic computer skills required).
Receive paid manufacturer training and hands‑on learning to develop your skills.
Work independently or as part of a two‑person team.
Jobs may range from a few hours to a few days—no overnight travel required.
Occasional Saturday overtime available.
All tools provided.
