Job summary

Lifeway Mobility in Wichita, KS is seeking an Accessibility Installation Technician to install and repair wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts. The role requires travel to Kansas City, MO and Omaha, NE, with full-time hours Monday–Friday and occasional Saturday overtime.

You will load the van, use hand and power tools, document work orders, and participate in paid training. Growth potential and branch bonus opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hand and power tools preferred.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and inventory.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to pass background check, drug test, and MVR.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle each morning.
• Install and repair accessibility products (ramps, stair lifts, ceiling lifts).
• Explain the project to the customer and answer questions.
• Enter work orders and inventory data in the system.
• Receive paid manufacturer training and hands-on learning.
• Work independently or as part of a two-person team.
• Jobs may range from a few hours to a few days; no overnight travel.
• Occasional Saturday overtime available.
• All tools provided.
