Job summary

HealthFund Solutions LLC is seeking an Insurance Advocate to enroll patients in ACA Marketplace plans at a hospital in Burleson, TX. This onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm CST.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities include assessing eligibility, enrolling patients, guiding through the enrollment process, and maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of ACA marketplace, Medicaid, & commercial insurance terms preferred.
• Computer proficient; EMR/EHR experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance.
• Must complete hospital medical clearance and required vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients to assess financial and medical eligibility for coverage.
• Enroll patients in ACA marketplace plans and obtain required documentation.
• Guide patients through the enrollment process and assist with case issues.
• Perform bedside screenings when necessary.
• Manage a high volume of outreach calls; document all activity in HealthFund Solutions, hospital databases, and EMR systems.
• Stay up to date on ACA policies, procedures and certification requirements.
• Provide accurate and timely data to support reporting and tracking needs.
